We are a small, loving part of God's family. We worship Him and work with Him to extend His kingdom in this beautiful area of rural Somerset.
Whilst most of our services remain on-line at this time, we intend to hold some services in the building consistent with our COVID assessments and the safety of the church members. The schedule for the services is posted in forthcoming events and on the calendar. See the News section for more details.
If you live in the local area and would like us to pray for you or need someone to talk to or would like some practical help, please email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
During this time of social distancing, if you would like to join our on-line church services, they will be hosted on Zoom for the time being. Email us to be added to the Sunday Zoom email reminder.
As we have moved into Tier 4, the services have changed to Zoom for this Sunday.
Sonya sent out an email which is quoted here:
Hi everyone,
Now that we have moved into Tier 4 of government restrictions I have made the decision to go back to having the service on Zoom this Sunday. We will still renew our covenant commitments to God and to each other and share communion together so make sure you get your bread and cup ready.
I'm sorry about this as I know it will be disappointing. I feel as the church we should lead the way in making sure that we are doing everything to keep people safe. We are technically allowed to meet for worship but we would have to make very sure that no-one chatted to anyone outside their household either inside or outside the building. This is not who we are as a church. We are a friendly loving community who would find it really difficult to meet and then not be able to catch up and care for each other. Looking forward to seeing you on Zoom.
Blessings,
Sonya
We hope this site will give you some information about God, about us, and what we do and why we do it.
If you are in our part of the world, we hope you will come and visit us. Everyone is welcomed and we enjoy seeing new faces and visitors in our church.
