A letter from Sonya about the latest lockdown and the services for the next month:
Since we are moving into lockdown on Thursday, I thought I would let you know how this will affect the church. We are still allowed to host Open Church for private prayer, but we are unable to hold services in our church building. Therefore, all services will be moving back onto Zoom during November. I will, of course, send more details soon.
In the meantime, if anyone would like some dessert apples from the tree in the manse garden, please let me know and we will get some to you. It has a huge number of apples this year - many more than we can use ourselves!
Also, if you are packing a shoebox, please let me have it by Sunday (8th Nov).
During this difficult time, lets continue to look out for those around us who may be struggling and care for them in whatever way we can.
Blessings to you all,

STOKE ST. GREGORY BAPTIST
CHURCH OPENS FOR PRIVATE PRAYER
With the lifting of some restrictions on churches, we are opening the Stoke St. Gregory Baptist Church for private prayer. The church will be open for private prayer once or twice a week for the time being. Starting with 8-10am on Sunday 5th July, and 10am till 1pm on Monday 6th July. It will be open every Monday from 10am-1pm. We will let you know about any further Sunday openings.
Since March 2019 we have been joined by Sonya Setchell who has taken up the role of Minister at Stoke St. Gregory Baptist Church.
'And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.'
